Here we are on the 4th of July. I hope that everyone has a pleasant day. It will be hot here so sweating will be involved. This is unfortunate because, well, I hate to sweat. I REALLY hate sweating where sweat should never be or go. YUCK!
I have already been industrious today by going to the car wash and to fetch BBQ. We were watching the Travel Channel this morning and they were visiting BBQ places around the country which led to my BBQ run. We ended up going to Mot's because it is close and good. The lady behind me in line waited two hours in line at Sconyers. I am sorry, but NO meal, unless it is the Lady and Sons in Savannah, is worth STANDING in a line for 2 hours only to end up at another restaurant. Go figure.
Our plan for the day was to go the pool and then up the road to the Milton's. However, this plan is currently on hold because Tim needed to make another fireworks run across the river. Being unable to do this on his own, he enlisted the help of Michael. Being the nice person I am, I suggested that they take Max with them. So, they did. It is really quiet in my house right now....ahhhhhhhhhh!
When they return from purchasing the contraband, we will trek over to the pool to ensure that Davis takes a nap today. Then around 5-ish, we will go up the street to cookout and party. Of course, the Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker will be joining us as this is now a required staple any time a party is involved since it is AWESOME.
Later this evening, our neighbors will either love or hate us when we set the sky ablaze with all sorts of fireworks. Fortunately, we are doing this at the Milton's so they will be in the line of fire first.
Eat, drink and be merry on the 4th.
Later!
